Petite Catkin Quaich Solitaire
Petite Catkin Quaich Solitaire
An antique transition cut diamond with a myriad of colours created by a kaleidoscopic effect sits upon a Catkin brushed gold band. Symbolising the ever-changing and endless possibilities contained in the human experience, the dancing light created by this diamond emulates a kaleidoscope in the most beautiful way. The transition diamond cut has a lower crown angle, a larger table, and smaller culet than the Old European Cut and was the favoured cut between the 1920’s and 1940’s.
