Goldsmiths Fair 2022- Joining the 40th Celebrations as I approach my 20th year

This year Goldsmiths Fair celebrates its 40th year. An event that brings together 136 of the UK's most extraordinary silversmiths and goldsmiths in the amazingly opulent Goldsmiths Hall. Showcasing exhibitors who combine ancient techniques with modern-day technologies surrounded by paintings in gilt frames and chandeliers made of genuine crystal, this is a delight of an event and one which I am so incredibly proud to be a part of.

Next year I will have been creating, making and running Alison Macleod Jewellery for 20 years, and this is my first time at Goldsmiths. A journey that has taken time but comes at a point in my work and discovery where I am able to make dream pieces that have been in my sketchbooks for years. This is a little luxury I am excited to have finally reached in my practice. The jewellery business is small, and it will be lovely to catch up with jewellery friends I have not seen for the past few years and meet the other incredible talents at this prestigious event.

Week One: 27th of September - 2nd of October
